Mex-Al was founded by Carmen Enríquez de Wolharn, a charismatic and determined woman who began bringing authentic Mexican products to Europe in 1981. Over the next 25 years, the family business imported numerous products such as chili peppers, sauces, wine, tequila and much more. After many years of hard work and a lot of motivation, Carmen handed over the management to her children, the current managing directors Linda Gnass and Richard Wolharn, who are continuing the family tradition with heart and commitment.

For more than 25 years we have been offering authentic Mexican products and dishes as well as all the ingredients for their preparation in Europe Since 1995 we have also been producing typical Mexican frozen products such as tacos, quesadillas, tamales and other specialties. In addition, we started producing corn tortillas in various variations in 2005 and since 2016 we have only used 100% GMO-free corn flour to produce our frozen corn tortillas.
